"Michel" vault

Below Hamburg’s most famous landmark you will find the “Krypta”, one of the biggest vaults in Europe. Due to its central position and great acoustics it is a popular venue for classic chamber concerts and theatre plays, and also suitable for your event.

On 1,000 square meters you may enjoy dinner, a medieval cavalier’s menu or an exclusive evening event with your guests. Even the vault was built in the 18th century and still keeps its original design, there isn’t a cold atmosphere in any way. The light-bands below the broad curved ceiling provide the hall with a warm and classy ambience. As a special feature there is a light system installed on the base of the imposing columns, which is able to change the projected colours.
