Amongst others the architectural uniqueness of the big hall results from the integration of typical elements of shipping into its construction: The walls are built from stacked overseas containers, canopied by a dynamically shaped roof. Glazed walls arrange for lightness and transparency. From the building, you have a fantastic view onto the harbour and the passing ships.

Beyond the cruise season the large hall is the perfect place for events with up to 700 people. For receptions or a separate catering area one may enlarge the 1,200 m² area with a pavilion.
